What Can Industrial Hemp Be Used For?
I write a lot about industrial hemp products like hemp hearts, hemp seeds, hemp oil, etc. It probably seems like I am pretty infatuated with eating hemp seeds…and that’s probably true. As much as I love to eat hemp, industrial hemp can be used for so many other things. I created HempInformer to help spread awareness about the benefits of industrial hemp and that includes more than just eating.
There have been over 25,000 products created using hemp a base material. I find that truly incredible and it also tells me that hemp is an awesome resource that we need to start utilizing even more than we already are.
What exactly can hemp be used to make? Honestly, the sky is the limit. It’s such an awesome and versatile resource that it can be used as a replacement for so many materials. People are making food, bath and body products, clothing…even concrete (or hempcrete?). The uses of hemp are unlimited, but check out the infographic below to see just how powerful this plant truly is.

Am I the only one who finds it incredible that every inch of the cannabis plant can be used to create something? From root to stalk to seed…nothing on this plant is left to waste. This is why I fully support the hemp industry and try to buy hemp based products every chance I get.
